Freaking out because it takes the blood bank 4 days longer to get the results of the HIV/Hepatitis test, which is absolutely ridiculous as I know that they will be negative. What a messed up mind.

There is good reason why these tests are prohibited in so many countries. This isn’t about effectiveness. Its simply about the lack of information about HIV in our society. When you get tested in a clinic or at your doctors, you will also be prepared what the result means, whether its positive or negative. Getting a positive result at home, alone, will very likely cause a irrational reaction like suicide because many see HIV as a death sentence, which is absolutely wrong. I’ve spoken to a lot HIV-positive people and every single one said that they were lucky to have someone with them when they got the news. To press this point further: A good friend of mine commited suicide after taking a home test he found on the internet. Also, if you take the test at a clinic, they will double check a positive result by running another, different test to minimize the chances of a false result.
